JW Sargeant (Kings Lynn) - Pork & Sage

More from the bag of lovely free sausages for tasting dropped off by our friends from Kings Lynn the Pork & Sage is up next...

No need to be concerned that we obtained these sausages free of charge and as a "pressie" from our friends, as our reviews are all ways honest and a true reflection of what we think of the produce.

We're confident to say 70%+ and proper Norfolk Free Range pork in natural skins for these beauties.  Well made and tied nicely.

Cooked up with lovely crisp skins and a very open texture and an interesting succulence, moist without being too moist if you know what we mean.  The sage taste was very bold and quite delightful.

Quite a bit of noticeable weight loss and shrinkage though, which did affect the marking unfortunately. For a pan fried sausage we've not seen this sort of level before, but there you go.

Good tasting sausage we all agreed.  Would we buy some?  Yes, we would.
