Pinks (Cumbria) - Breakfast Pork

These are premium breakfast sausages from Pinks of Cumbria, that really deliver on flavour and taste....and remember they are not just for breakfast!...

The premium breakfast pork sausage, similar in size to a chipolata, are produced by Lakes Speciality Foods of Staveley, Cumbria trading as Pinks, and although the packaging was a bit odd with the label hiding absolutely nothing at all (really nothing underneath it as all the sausages were at the other end, by design it looks like) these 80% meat sausages were very good.

The texture was medium(ish) and the sheeps casings of good quality cooked up well and made for a nice bite.

Meaty and tasty was the consensus from the assembled tasters!  In fact the mother-in-law said she liked them (evidently she's not a big fan of sausages!) so there you go...

Eaten cold, (the sausages, not us) yes, these are very good.
